The Sarawak Independence 60th Anniversary Convoy which took place in the city of #Miri led by the Honorable Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Abang Haji Openg and YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Youth, Sports & Entrepreneur Development Sarawak, YB Dr. Ripin Lamat, Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports & Entrepreneur Development Sarawak and Ybhg. Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Abu Bakar bin Marzuki, Sarawak State Government Secretary heading to the #bintulu section.

This convoy consists of 56 4x4 vehicles, 81 motorcycles and an escort bus. The convoy departed from the Miri Indoor Stadium and stopped at Pantai Bungai in #Subis, before continuing the convoy's journey to Kampung Nyalau in #bintulu.

Upon arriving in Bintulu, the convoy stopped at Paragon Street Mall, Bintulu as a Pit Stop and attended the opening ceremony of the digital exhibition and sales booth there. The Premier of Sarawak also attended the ceremony of handing over the Sarawak flag and the flag commemorating 60 years of Independence from the Resident of Miri Division, Mr. Haji Jamalie Haji Busri to the Resident of Bintulu, Mr. Nyurak Keti.
