The Fire Safety Briefing and Training Programme organised by MYSED Limbang Division in collaboration with the Limbang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) was successfully conducted with the participation of 19 MYSED Limbang staff and 8 firefighters who served as facilitators and safety trainers.
The programme aimed to enhance the awareness and knowledge of MYSED personnel on fire safety aspects, particularly focusing on prevention, initial response, and building evacuation procedures during emergencies. Throughout the briefing, participants were provided with explanations on fire causes, prevention measures, the use of fire extinguishers, and proper emergency response procedures.
Additionally, a practical training session was conducted where participants were given the opportunity to handle fire extinguishers and take part in a simulated fire drill in an orderly and controlled manner. The presence and support of the firefighters ensured that each exercise was carried out effectively, providing participants with a realistic and impactful learning experience.
Overall, the programme successfully achieved its intended objectives while further strengthening the cooperation between MYSED Limbang Division and the Limbang Fire and Rescue Department in enhancing workplace safety.
