CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE CHAMPION CAMP AND LAUNCH OF THE 100 DAYS COUNTDOWN TO SUKMA XXII SELANGOR 2026
6 May 2026 – Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah officiated the Closing Ceremony of the Champion Camp and the Launch of the 100 Days Countdown to SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026 held at Kem Putra Sentosa Retreat.
The programme was organised to strengthen the preparation of Sarawak athletes in terms of physical fitness, mental resilience and team spirit ahead of the SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026 Games. The launch of the 100-day countdown also symbolised the commitment and readiness of the Sarawak contingent in facing the nation’s biggest sporting event.
During the ceremony, the Minister of MYSED also delivered words of encouragement and motivation to the athletes, urging them to maintain discipline, focus and a strong fighting spirit in striving for excellence and bringing glory to Sarawak at SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026.
The ceremony was also attended by ministry officials, coaches, state athletes and invited guests who joined in enlivening the programme. It is hoped that programmes such as this will continue to serve as a holistic athlete development platform and a catalyst for the success of the Sarawak contingent at SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026.
